Britney's ex-manager may pay her legal fees

Pop princess Britney Spears' ex-manager Sam Lutfi may be asked to foot her legal fees in a new move by the singer's lawyers.
Lutfi, who has been slapped with a three-year restraining order, may have to dole out 123,142 dollars to cover the fees brought about by the courtroom battle over the restraining order, reports People magazine.

Spears' lawyers asked a Los Angeles court to order him to pay, and they are also seeking 129,922 dollars from Jon Eardley, an attorney who has challenged Jamie Spears' control over his daughter.

They are also seeking 72,292 dollars from her ex-boyfriend Adnan Ghalib, and both he and Eardley have been ordered to stay away from the pop star.

A judge has yet to sign off on the request.

Britney Spears' manager has lashed out at American Idol host Ryan Seacrest for spreading rumour that the singer is pregnant.

Ryan had revealed on his radio show that the 'Hit Me Baby One More Time' hitmaker is pregnant.

Ryan further insisted that the pregnancy report is authentic, as the information comes from a 'reliable source.



Britney's manager Adam Leber has dismissed the reports and has insisted that Ryan should have checked up with him before circulating such a vague piece of information.



"She's absolutely not pregnant. I have no idea where this ridiculous rumour came from. Ryan has communication with our camp and could have checked this before saying it," Contactmusic quoted Leber, as telling PerezHilton.com
