I believe in people who mean well and do good…’… says Bollywood macho man and superstar Salman Khan in a special blog on iTimes — the social networking site of The Times Group with fan clubs, e-mail, blogs by stars and other features.

Salman, who is all for electoral candidates engaged in doing outstanding social work like promoting and providing education, building bridges, houses and hospitals, and creating employment, urges the Indian citizen to go out and vote for the change they are expecting to happen. “My larger concern is support to the candidates who have done good work for people — and not those netas who give empty bhashans… We live in a society of the people and by the people, what matters in the long run is the work you do for people. Dua milti hai, goodwill and trust banta hai, and that translates into votes,” says Salman.

MUMBAI: Again the gossip column is filled up with Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif’s splitting news. Grapevine is abuzz that Salman Khan’s over possessive nature has widened the gap between the two. He is said to be the root of their separation. Sallu is stubborn and overprotective and he does not want Kat to question him regarding any matter. He wanted to lead life according to his own wish.

Moreover, Salman wants a housewife who only manages his house and does not like an independent woman like Katrina who is ambitious.

Their bitter relationship came into forefront when both did not talk with each other on the set of Veer. Their long period of silence has given birth of their differences.

They were on the same venue but hardly spoke with each other and maintained a professional relationship.They remained far away from one throughout while shooting in Jodhpur.

Salman- Katrina wants to take control 0f there relationship

Bollywood actors Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif have been going steady for quite sometime now though they have not made their relationship public. They hang on to each other in spite of the breakup rumours. Once again, the news is doing the rounds that this lovebirds are heading for a breakup.

The grapevine is abuzz with the news that Salman Khan’s possessive attitude has destroyed his relationship with Katrina. He is said to have dumped her and hardly spoke to her even when they were together. Their sour relationship was exposed during the shooting of Salman’s film Veer at Jodhpur, they were not in touch with each other.

It is said that Salman wants to take complete control of his relationship with Katrina and doesn’t want her to question him for anything. Moreover, he wants a housewife and not an independent woman as his wife. So, he is said to have diverted his attention from Katrina.

However, Katrina is said to be having hard time trying to come to terms with the breakup, as she not only loves Salman but also has fallen in love with his parents.

Well, we are yet to hear from the lovebirds. Let’s hope the breakup story turns out to be just another rumour!

Salman today arrived here in a helicopter from Lucknow to attend a “Holi Milan” function organised by Congress candidate Anu Tandon.

During the interaction with his fans, who flocked to see a glimpse of the actor, Salman asked them to vote according to their conscience.

He also asked the crowd about their problems and suggested them to meet Tandon, saying the Congress candidate will solve them.

The Bollywood actor also sang songs from his film “Mujh Se Shadi Karogi” and “No Entry” for his fans and danced on the tune of Amitabh Bachhan’s recital of Holi songs.

At present, Unnao parliamentary seat is in BSP’s fold and SP also has a strong presence here. Sensing these realities, Congress has brought Salman here to woo the voters.

He will attend five Holi Milan functions and ask people to vote in favour of Tandon.
