Emraan Hashmi turns 30

An unconventional hero who’s battled some conventional tags like ‘the serial kisser’, Emraan Hashmi turns 30 today.
He’s the blue-eyed boy of the Bhatts. He may not have the killer looks to match those of the Khan troika in Bollywood, but Emraan has a screen presence that has won him a loyal fan following ever since he debuted in 2003 in a forgettable movie titled ‘Footpath’.

It was with Murder opposite Mallika Sherawat that Emraan made his presence felt and embarked on a career studded with both hits and failures alike. Over the years, Emraan worked with a number of actresses and won the label of “serial kisser” for his obligatory liplocks with his female co-stars.But cozying up to actresses on the screen doesn’t mean there’s nothing more to Emi boy than just his kissing skills. He’s an accomplished actor, a fact he has proved time and again with films like Gangster , Awarapan , Jannat and the recently released Raaz - The Mystery Continues .

Today, he is happily married and eager to shed his ‘serial kisser’ tag. His next big role would be playing the gangster Dawood Ibrahim in director Milan Luthria’s Once Upon A Time In Mumbai .

We wish Emraan a very happy birthday.
